Spend some time on a UCLA campus and you'll see a huge amount of Asians about 40% of the campus. Most are foreigners from mainland China and speak Mandarin. My dorm was about 35% (of 350 students) Chinese and they did everything from steal food to dishes and anything they could get away with. When they were caught they just pretended they didn't understand that it couldn't be shared as it is in communist China.

All school love the foreign students because of the high tuition they pay (but of course that doesn't include the illegals!!) Santa Monica College has recruited foreign students for as long as I can remember, so at least 40 yrs. They do get students from around the world and their foreign student population is much more divers than UCLA.

A huge problem, that the schools themselves created, is that our primary schools are not teaching students to be prepared for higher learning and thus don't qualify for the higher academics. Whereas foreign countries are doing a much better job. Our schools here in Calif are so flooded with an uneducated class of illegals, anchors and gang members the teachers (who may not be that qualified in the first place) struggle to even get part of the basics taught. A teaching credential is one of the easiest degrees to obtain now and very often the tuition and school loans are forgiven. It's a sweet deal to go after a teaching credential today.

Businesses complain that there aren't enough skilled or educated workers coming out of our schools and often hire foreigners to teach at our universities. Another reason the foreigners are hired is they will work for less just to get a foot in the door with a visa.

We need to get a handle on our schools because this is really destroying the fabric of our country apart. Our citizens are being short changed as the liberal academia turns to the rest of the world as their great cause in promoting "diversity".
