I doubt the Chinese students will like it. For one thing they absolutely not will get the quality of education they are used to getting in China. I doubt it will take more than a few months before these high schoolers realize they aren't getting an education but instead are being filled with pablum like self-esteem, sex ed and tolerance.
Chinese families HERE don't rely on our education or lack of it, they have supplemental schools with serious work. I know a LOT of Chinese families who think public school is a total waste of time that just has to be worked around, not with.
My half brother married a Chinese woman who brought her 14 year old daughter here. The girl is despondent over the lack of education she's getting in her Colorado school. She feels like the possibility of a future is being taken from her. Needless to say, her grade in self-esteem has fallen.
