Default Illegal Alien Trash Clean Up at The Border

Report from Gadget Dan

Last month, our trash removal total was 1490 pounds (we had
three days of no trash pickup due to the weather). So far this month
(Feb.), we have removed 510 pounds for the first nine (9) days. Just
over 55 pounds average per day. The goal is to remove (on average), 50
pounds per day,or, around 1500 pounds per month. Late yesterday (until
dark and rain), I was removing litter/sign on the North side of I-8 at
Sunrise Hwy. The trails leading from the bush to the edge of Sunrise
Hwy. were well marked with litter (it never ends!),

I removed 25 pounds of litter at this location. Just for the record, there is
enough litter removal work for 100 volunteers to do ( seven days per
week!). Once again, Buckman Springs Rd. is re-littered and is in need
of cleaning. Time to focus on cleaning it. What can I say - we do the
best job we can with the limited resources we have available.

Total
amount of litter we have removed from Public Lands since we started
(some 3 1/2+ years ago), is 44,500 pounds. We say - "taking back San
Diego East County, one littered bit at a time!". Also, we are doing the
job the Environmentalists refuse to do. Dan. PS - As I look West at
7:55 AM, I see blue skies....cool, but blue skies heading our way!
Time to go after all that litter. Lol. Dan
