So the globalists couldn't exactly beat the republican party machine in California, so they attempt to take over the party instead. The new platform they hope to install wants to give in to the comprehensive immigration reform crowd, as well as the gay rights, the right to choose, and become more flexible on gun control.
In other words, become liberal Democrats, but call themselves moderate republicans
