Grand Island, N.Y. - The U.S. Border Patrol's Wellesley Island Station graduated its second Citizens Academy class last night. The Citizens Academy, which held its first session on April 18, met every Wednesday night for a six-week period. Community leaders from the New York State Parks, Antique Boat Museum, Uncle Sam's Boat Tours, Messenger Construction, Wellesley Island Building Supply, as well as other local organizations participated in this premiere experience.
