I believe this is a Supreme Court case cited by an open borders member of congress who was arguing in a hearing that the case supported not sending central Americans back. The Democrat congress wench said "Flores case", this is the closest I found after a medium search that could be stretched to apply:

Quote:
Flores-Villar v. United States

Plain English Holding: By a vote of four to four (because Justice Kagan was recused), the Court allowed the lower court's decision to stand; that decision rejected the argument that a federal law which establishes different standards for children born out of wedlock outside of the United States to obtain U.S. citizenship, depending on whether the child's mother or father was a U.S. citizen, is unconstitutional. http://www.scotusblog.com/case-files...united-states/
If this is the case she cited, she may have been presumptuous enough to think that no one would take to time to even briefly look into it, the old baffle 'em with bullshit schtick. She either didn't know the facts of the case or she's cynically tossing out a red herring for the gullible.

A side note: Texas governor Rick Perry, a Republican who is somewhat sympathetic to amnesty, wanted Obama to come down to the border and see for himself what a disaster his policies have wrought. Obama ignored it for a while until suggesting a "roundtable meeting" which includes "faith and civic leaders".

Which means that Perry is going to be filibustered and shouted down by the third parties, and there won't be a discussion between Obama and Perry.

Sort of like the "beer summit", but instead of palavering over a beer, Perry will be abused by frothing at the mouth activists while Obama looks on and commits to nothing.
