According to the Jews, the Jews were chosen by God for a variety of things. They do not say why or how or suggest that the Jews are privileged in the eyes of God beyond other people. They also do not believe that they were chosen to be lords over other people. Compare with Catholicism and Islam where believers have claimed over and over and over again, lordship over other people's and especially non-believers.
The only thing that anyone else besides the Jews have to concern themselves over God having chosen the Jews, is the land of Israel, which the Jews say God promised to them.

But what are illegals doing applying for graduate education? Are these illegals who have come up in our own educational system? If so, this is another good reason to throw illegals and their anchor babies out of our educational system. If not, what about all those educational visa?
