I was listening to an interview with Jan Brewer today. A cost benefit analysis including efforts at boycott results in the following.

A. The money lost by the boycott

B. The money gained by people coming to Arizona to support the state.

C. The money gained by people choosing to do business with Arizona to support the state.

D. The money staying in Arizona by people who would rather stay in the state than go to California (San Diego has already complained of cancellations)
The money saved by not providing services to criminal aliens.

E. The cancellations themselves were untrue. There is little to NO conventions in Arizona in the summer. The heat is prohibitive. Cancellations of fall and winter conventions and vacations havent happened yet.

It's more than a wash. It's a net benefit.
