I don't endorse his asylum, but I don't see anywhere in that article anything about him being a Hamas spy. He did function as a terrorist, but mainly for purposes of espionage. Is he a double agent, hoping to find his way into the US? He says he has converted to Christianity, that's pretty dramatic, and he did spy reliably for Israel. If he's a mole, he's a pretty good one.
Could it be that the Obamination rejects his appeal
because he spied on Hamas? We are currently trying to appease Hamas, maybe this is part of it.
