Twenty-nine people are facing charges in the US related to trafficking young girls for sex.
It has been alleged criminals in the states of Minnesota and Tennessee sent Somali and American girls through borders for sex.
Some of the children were less that 13 years old according to police.
The girls were sent from the Minneapolis area to Nashville, Tennessee for sex from the years 2000 to 2010.
Those arrested are alleged to have been associated with Somali-American gangs.
Sex trafficking offences involving children carry a penalty of not less than 15 years to life in prison.
