Four men came from Mexico in the white van, walked around the fence, looked around, looked at Kingfish and walked back. One guy (the driver) looked to be in fatigues and the others were in Jeans and T-Shirts.

They must have heard about BP Aguilar pulling BP back from the border.

Maybe it's a reconnaisance in daylight to check out new border incursion trails !

It's like telling your kid, you'll be looking for drugs in his room tomorrow. Of course it will be gone, because you've given the warning.

It might also have been a provocation. They knew they were being watched and hoped somebody might come out there to start some kind of incident. They then complain, get the watchers removed and now the border is again free for illegal crossings.
