Border Patrol Agent Ambushed

It happened while he was patrolling the Hidalgo-McAllen area last night around 7 p.m. We're told the agent saw some smugglers and chased them down to the river. That's where the smugglers ambushed him. They threw rocks at him and his vehicle. Some of the rocks were large. The agent was seriously injured. He's now receiving medical care at a San Antonio hospital.

Come on now, what's new about this incident? You know as well as I do this kind of crap has been happening for the last 40 years. Why now?

I feel sorry for the BP agents, out there in the middle of nowhere, sometimes with only a radio, help can't get to them for hours. I say forget the Fence, plant LAND MINES all along the border, and I mean it.:mad:
