Sanchez always impressed me as a real schmuck every time he opened his mouth. Looks like I turned out to be exactly right about him.

Phil most people thought he was a schmuck, just read the comment sections where the story is posted. Practically everyone is happy to see him gone. This has been a fairly good week, instate tuition was shot down and Sanchez is gone. Let's hope the Allred/Nicky thing backfires on them and we'll have a triple hitter.

From the looks of things it probably will. I heard a talk show host on KFI today saying how he was leaning toward Jerry Brown but now plans to vote for Meg Whitman just to spite Gloria Allred and that he knew several other people who were planning to do the same thing.

What IS it with these people who have complaints that their fathers had to work while they were growing up?

What happened to Sanchez was a backfiring of the most common liberal ploy. He didn't like what Stewart was saying so he called him a bigot. That's used to silence just about anyone for any reason. Don't like it if someone says chocolate ice cream sucks, call them a bigot. It didn't work this time. The sad part is, it works often enough to be used over and over again.

That's why when someone wants to shut down a discussion by calling me a bigot, I say "Okay I'm a bigot, now ADDRESS THE ISSUE". They won't not ever. Not one time has someone ever gone on to address the issue under discussion. Not educated people, not uneduated people, not intelligent people, not the undeniably stupid people.

This time it didn't work. Except that Rick Sanchez is no longer in a position to be the butt of Stewart's jokes so I guess Sanchez had a victory of sorts.

CNN was just looking for an excuse to dump Ricky Sanchez. The excuse used to get rid of him was not justified in my way of thinking.

No - I'm no defending him. I never watched him and quit watching CNN over a year ago.

CNN is replacing him with - ready for this ??? Eliot Spitzer !!!!! Yikes. If you didn't like Sanchez you went from the frying pan into the fire on this one !!!!

Sanchez's ratings were down too, that didn't help.

I no longer get upset about all of this. There is just too much PC e.g. politically castrated.

If they had left Ricky alone and on the program he would have just gone ahead and made an idiot of himself and that I really like. It helps us when the buffoons spout off.!
