Clash over checkpoints

“I feel horrible,” she said, speaking in Spanish as she walked, hauling her son's car safety seat. “I've heard about these things, but I never imagined it would happen,” said the woman, who asked that her name not be used. “I need to work and I can't get a driver's license.” And now They allow "Protesters" to hold signs warning of the check points. When I lived there, The PPD would station patrolcars, and bikes blocks away to catch the Ones trying to avoid the checkpoints. On another note, is'nt having the signs in Spanish-only descriminating against American Law-breakers? Hmm...good comments.. |
"letters to the Editor" was on the front page of their website...for about 30 minutes, then gone....took abit of digging to find it again..
