Governor Resigns
 

Unfortunately it's the make believe Governor. Saw this on the republic For California's website today. Apparently it's a few weeks back too:

Oh my, the world has come to an end....Oh, the humanity!

A. I hope this turn of events doesn't dampen Jeff Schwilk's enthusiasm for whatever was supposed to knock our socks off in a few months. I would hate to think his celebratory e-mail, scheduled for December, is not on its way to my in-box.

B. Based upon precedent, does this now mean Mike Williams is the new governor?

C. "You won't have Chelene Nightingale to kick around anymore!"

D. Is Chelene trying to replicate Sarah Palin's profit-making strategy, and preparing to start making public speeches, initiating a bus tour, and releasing a new book containing her vision for America? I'd be kind of interested to read the chapters on 9/11 and chemtrails.

E. Is it possible she's leaving office to prepare for a presidential run?

F. Now that she's not burdened the mantle of leadership, is it possible she'll finally get a part-time job and pay Frank the money she owes him?

A: I forgot about that. I think he may be among the disappointed crowd, joining those who voted Obama, The Terminator, and those of us thrilled by prop 187 passing

B: I don't think Mike Williams appointed himself Lt gov., so there's not a natual succession for him.

C: Who says? I still kick nixon around, and he's been dead for years

D: Chelene's only bus tour would have to be on the "magic bus"

E: No, she's not exactly Pat Paulsen

F: Have you felt the earth shake yet?

Damn I almost choked on my cornflakes!

If only this was a reality!

Austin Powers Evil half brother?

As far as who the heck is the republic for California, just imagine a new crop of tax protesters who have also written themselves out of every code and statute after the basic declarations and articles of the California constitution. To give themselves the appearance of propriety, they've formed a "true" republic under the "real" constitution.
They haven't mentioned how they plan to finance or defend it militarily though. God was apparently going to provide some of this.
