American Flag Burned on the 5th of May...Coincidence?

This occurred on the 5th of May. Why is the media not covering that aspect of this story?

It's an act of vandalism. It could have been a knucklehead who torched it and ran in "honor" of Cinco de Mayo, or it could have been some cowardly yahoo who had a personal beef with the owner and the flag burning was a safe "confrontation" with May 5 being coincidental.

Either way, it's an asinine act.
