Prosecuting The Victims
 

Homeowners removing what was their property, are now being charged by the lenders who themselves got a taxpayer bailout.

I don't approve of crime, but if the government hadn't propped up these frudulent lenders, there would be no need to have done this.

Prosecutors on Tuesday charged former Ripon homeowners John and Janette Freitas with grand theft for allegedly taking up to $100,000 in furnishings from their home when they left it.
