A complex tragedy at the border
A complex tragedy at the border
I disagree with Tovar's conclusion, but there is a lot of truth in this article. Please read the whole thing before reacting in outraged indignation. Quote:

I rejoice in our formidable natural borders and that they should take victims from people who would trespass our country. The message should be one of fear and guilt, that they should fear our deserts and we hope they die if they try to cross them to enter the country illegally. May your sun bleached bones be a warning to the rest! |
Mexican
John Carlos Frey is a native of Mexico. That is he's Mexican !!!
What else needs to be said about his attitude and comments. As an American I think the Mexicans should be criticizing their own government instead of whining about not being able to crash the border without passing through designated customs and immigration entry points. It is supposed to be our Federal Government that is in charge of immigration. Fact is there are unlimited visas available now for agricultural workers. And of 5,000 other visas made available 3,000 or so went unused in years past. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/john-carlos-frey |

Sounds good to me! Congratulations on figuring out that this is a war for survival. |
They do not want ag visas, they want to crash everything we have of value. Crash and then take over neighborhoods, take over our schools, take over our political offices and insert their fake businesses to launder drug money. Let them stay where they are or face the desert.

They should work very well with Mr Obama.

Here are some of the truths I referred to, perhaps lost in skimming the article for something to disagree with. As I said, I disagree with Tobar's conclusion. I also believe that our borders should be secure, employers of illegal aliens punished, and illegal aliens deported. That doesn't conflict with the truth in the article. Quote:

Whether they come here to make some money in construction and go back to Mexico (but never do), or come here to make money selling black tar heroin and return to Mexico (but never do), it's all about what Tobar calls social mobility, often illiterate peasants and urban poor becoming middle class or even wealthy - an improbable if not impossible goal in Mexico. |
