He is trying to fight deportation by using a u visa in which an alien was a victim of a crime here in the us. A good person but realy he overstayed his visa.

What a cool Filipino guy. Actually married a female in Sacramento who already had a daughter and adoped her to be his teenager. The mother disiplined her and this nice step father took the blame for her own mom spanking her own daughter and now is being deported for them. They plan to join him in PI and he has already departed.

What a looser. Came from Tracy Prison (which is just a reception center). Came as a asylee with his parents from Fiji Islands in 92. Well his father got deported in 2002 and is currently trying to save his son from comming home to him by submitting false papers (notorized) that his father disappeared in Fiji while trying to repair his torn village. Naveen Sharma, who was deproted in June is also trying to send false articles and papers to help him remain in the US.
|
Naveen Sharma
Son of a Police officer from Fiji, Mr. Raghoa Sharma of Elk grove (who is currently trying to become a police officer at UC Davis campus), Naveen has been deported as of June 2010. Having too many theft, drugs, and possesion charges, he was denied the right to stay in US. Mr. Raghoa tried numerous ways to save him, also implicating other desendents of Fiji to criminal proceedings bet was unsuccessful. When ever his son would get arrested he would implicate other peoples children in crimes in exchange for his sons release. Mr. Raghoa is a Pastor/Hindu priest for the Fijian/Indian community and has aquired numerous contacts as he visists and performs ceremonies in their homes.

You reported on this guy back in March. He had an immigration hold and no bail...
I wonder if this is the same guy currently being held for murdering a young man this weekend near Fruitridge and 42nd Street. The name and age are right. http://www.sacbee.com/2010/08/30/299...a-18e25e126423 Sacramento County Inmate Information System Inmate Name SAECHAO, CHAI CHOY Aliases SAECHAO, CHAICHOY BILLY SAECHAO, CHAICHOY C SAECHAO, CHUI CHOY CHAI, SAECHAO BILLY CHAI, SAECHAO SAECHAO, BILLY SAECHAO, CHAICHOY SAECHAO, CHAI BILLY, CHAI SAECHAO SAECHAO, CHALCHOY SAECHAO, CYAI CHOY X-Reference Number X-1964084 Booking/Registry Number 09471585 Date of Birth 12/20/75 Sex Male Height 5'06" Weight 160 lbs. I don't know, but I often request notificatio that he was released or transferred. I'll scout through that later tonight and see

Looks pretty official. They're the same. So now we go to ICE and request confirmation that he was released to commit crime in the community again, or they deported him and he snuck back in. My guess is the former, because he was most likely not deported anywhere south of the border.
|
Wow...I guess no bail and immigration hold don't really mean what you would think. Thanks for looking into this.

OK, this guy is a career probation case. Goes back to the 90's with felony and misdemeanor cases. at least 11 different cases spanning 14 years. Possession of controlled substances, possession of stolen property, weapons and ammo charges, receiving stolen property, on ond on. Why he was out on the streets at all is dumbfounding. If he was deportable, he should have been removed years ago.

Everyone from the cockfight arrests has been released, including those who had immigration holds.

At least one is not free, the rooster took care of him. :)

I was incorrect. Turns out there were 6 arrested, 4 of which had BP holds. A sixth detainee was turned over to another agency, and that usually means they gave him over to the feds, most likely for deportation, but not positively. The DA has not filed formal charges on anyone except the alleged ring leader, who had a prior history of similar offense. I was able to locate previous charges on tow of the others, but for DUI, and giving false ID to a policeman
I'll also tell you that ICE remains quite active bringing people into the Sac jail, although this jail is under contract to hold their wards from other counties as well. But I've seen numerous arrests by ICE, and that is at least encouraging. I'm just not sure there is a substantial number of them being deported though. In any case, they are mainly Latin Americans and hashibabs |
Here's the one that was turned over to the feds:

Every person who maliciously and intentionally maims, mutilates, or tortures any mammal, bird, reptile, amphibian, or fish as described in subdivision (d), is guilty of an offense punishable by imprisonment in the state prison, or by a fine of not more than twenty thousand dollars ($20,000), or by both the fine and imprisonment, or, alternatively, by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than one year, by a fine of not more than twenty thousand dollars ($20,000), or by both the fine and imprisonment. He was sentenced immediately too. He got 6 days in jail, which was probably time served, and 3 years general searchable probation. So now comes the question whether he was deported or not. I'm going to ask our local ICE rep if they will confirm this or not. |
Here's how they do us here in Sac. This guy was arrested, and now tried on rape...two different women. No mention by the press that he has, and still has an immigration hold:

This guy actuall had a charge back in '09 for some sort of theft, but it seems to have languished until this recent arrest. Gott love the booking photo:mad:

I can tell you right now, if he gets convicted on that charge and heads off to a CA prison w/ his record of lewd act w/ a minor following him along, that smile will be gone soon.

An update:
This guy was sentenced recently and then was released to....I presume....ICE, for deportation. The crime he was charged with carries a one year, 3 year, or five year sentence. it's a sex crime relative to an under 14 year old child. He got 364 days. But was released to be deported in what...5 1/2 months, but only four months after he was formally sentenced Quote:
